NaBloPoMo'd - Fail

What was I thinking?

I guess I really wasn't. November, for some reason, even when I wasn't working full time, has always been the busiest month for me. And certainly not the time to be contemplating NaBloPoMo.

Knocked out at Day 12. I can barely keep the blog up, let alone post every day.

I guess it was worth the try. I honestly have all sorts of posts in my head, but not the time to put them down in any comprehensible format.

And then there's the matter of me travelling for work all next week. Uh, yeah.

It will be interesting to see how the man fares, flying solo with the kids for the first time for more than a weekend. A peek into my tornado days of daycare pickups, lessons, meals, groceries...

I'm looking forward to being able to get up in the morning and just worry about me, myself and I. No packing lunches or snacks for a week. Heaven.

As for NaBloPoMo? I guess there's always next year.

You did better than me. I didn't realize it was November until the 4th. By then I used my aloofness as an excuse. Oh well.

Never mind nablopomo-whatever! Enjoy your week away! I like when I have to go away for the weekend for work but I am always really glad to come home :)

The blog should be a creative outlet for you, not another source of stress. You don't have to worry about losing readers just because you don't post every day in November.. you are a great writer and we will happily wait for a new post!

Have a great trip. I hope the man and kids do well on their own.

Ha! You made it twice as long as I did... NaBloPo-NoMo.

Have a safe and relaxing trip. Your peeps will have a new appreciation for you when you return.

Sorry KM, but after Chrissy blogged every day last November, even while in the hospital, even the day she gave BIRTH, none of us can use the busy excuse. We're just not dedicated enough.

I'm with you, though. I didn't even try this year. Last few years I've been into it and enjoyed it. This year? Meh.

yeah, November is a terrible time for blogging every day. I think they should change it to February - dead of winter when nothing is going on and everyone is huddled inside keeping warm by the glow of their laptops.

Funny you should say this! I was JUST thinking the same thing this morning!

I started NaBloPoMo-ing in 2007 and for some reason thought I should do it again this year. WHAT was I thinking? Though I've been diligently posting every day, I fear my posts are not written wholeheartedly. I hate doing things half-@$$ed, but I also hate not finishing things. Take a look and see some of my lame posts. Miss ya! XOXO

LOL! I just noticed J's comment! Too funny. Yeah, I blogged every day in the month of November last year...from my hospital bed and I Tweeted about being in labour and also how my little preemie canon-balled her way out into the world. I'm just crazy like that. I had nothing better to do other than blog from my hospital bed anyway! LOL! That's what strict bed rest during pregnancy does to you.

THIS year, however, I'm finding it really hard to blog every day. I don't know how some people do this every day of the year. I could never do that. Well, maybe if someone paid me to! LOL!

I know what you mean. I tried it a couple years ago and couldn't finish. I mentioned to a friend that I was thinking about trying again and she talked me out of it immediately!
Too many posts in our minds, too little time.
