I was tagged by Lizzy for a cute 6 quirky things meme. As if you don't already know enough of my weirdnesses, let's just add a few more:
1/ I don't eat pizza crust.
2/ I devour pie crust.
3/ I take direction and instruction really well. I attribute that to all the lessons I took as a child. Only problem is, you have to stay with me.
For example, I do not golf. But if you demonstrate to me how to hold the club, steer me in the right direction, I'll hit it exactly where you want it to go. The next hole, you've got to tell me again. And curling. I've only curled once, but we were lucky to have an experienced curler on our team. During a company fun tournament, as a totally inexperienced skip, I tossed the last stone as directed, and we beat the pants off the opposing team who had Mr. Professional Skip, complete with fancy curling outfit. You should have seen his face. You should have seen my purple and blue knees for the next couple of weeks.
4/ Owls creep me out even more than clowns do.
5/ I love sausages. Especially on vacation as part of a big breakfast. That to me spells vacation.
6/ I am a clumsy walker. I will trip on the sidewalk over nothing. In flats.
I'm still bearing a scar on my knee from when I dropped little G at 4 months of age in her carrier while walking in the school parking lot to pick up her big brother. The carrier went flying, I skidded my jeaned knee raw. She didn't wake up from her nap. To this day I don't even know why I went down, I think I tripped over my own foot. Sheesh.
Now, according to Kami, I've been caught being good!! Another blingy thingy from a new blog friend. I am so honoured by this, I've been visiting her blog regularly since I "found" her and I really enjoy her often hilarious descriptions of life with her two boys. She's a gem.
Here are the rules that come with this sticker:
1. Choose 3 people you want to reward for their good bloggy behavior. (I say if you don’t have three that’s ok. Pick one person.)
2. Link them in a post along with the “Caught Being Good” sticker.
3. Let them know they’ve been “Caught Being Good” and encourage them to pay it forward (if they feel like it). That’s it!
So I'll have to pass this along to a few bloggers whose spaces I've been reading lately and who have been so fantastic at commenting back here so regularly. All amazing bloggers:
Huckdoll
Immoral Matriarch
Kat
Go spread some linky love if you want to.
Now I'm off to enjoy the rest of the new statutory holiday *Family Day* with my family. What an amazing concept!

I'm an incredible clutz, too! It's amazing that your baby wasn't hurt - and slept right through!
What about that pizza with the stuffed crust? Do you make an exception for that?
When I was a child, I always heard an owl whoo-ing somewhere outside of my window. I heard him for years and years, but never once laid eyes on him.
Funny...but I forgot about that until just now reading your post. Thanks for that. It's quite a nice memory actually. I was always lying in bed, waking up in a sun drenched room, waiting to experience all the wonderment of a new day, with the sounds of an unseen wise being outside of my window...lovely...
Uh-oh...I smell a post coming on...
Great list! You aren't alone in the clutz thing for sure! I'm always tripping over nothing...drives me up a wall!!
Owls are SWEEEET!
I don't eat pie crust almost at all...
owls are pretty damn creepy.
I love pizza crust. Best part!!
And thank you!!!! Going on my sidebar!

OMG! That is too funny! I don't eat pizza crust and I am a clumsy walker too! LOL! My 10 year old niece always laughs and asks me, "First time using your new feet?"
I also like the pie crust way better than pizza crust! Congrats on the award - way to go! See you later. Kellan
OMG... I knew I loved you for a reason. You eat sausage. I puffy heart sausage!
I, too, and very clumsy. My Kamden has inherited this gene from me, the poor kid.
I also can choke on nothing. It's at talent. My husband doesn't even look up anymore. I'll be coughing and crying and hacking and he keeps on doing whatever he's doing.
:-)
I love visiting your blog and I am so glad we found eachother!
I would love to try curling someday. In each of the past olympics I would watch it religiously. But in Texas, people think curling is how you make your hair big. Sigh...
Hope you enjoyed Family Day! I know what you mean about owls. There's something a bird that turns its head the whole way around!
I love pizza crust! Especially when you dip them in garlic butter. Yum!
You know...I wasn't much of a pizza crust eater either until I accidently dipped it in Italian dressing one time...oh my Gawd!! Now I eat everyone else's crust..just as long as I have a bottle of dressing...the creamy Italian is the best!!
I will trip on "nothing" and then, of course, turn around and try to see what tripped me up!! Yes, "First day with the new feet" is a phrase used often!!
I tried to send you a message from my blog, but it bounced back!! What's up with that?!?!
Thanks for coming over...I'm enjoying the heck out of your blog too!! It's always nice to "meet" new people!!

I see some similarities esp. 1,2,5 & 6.
Sausage rules! In pie or pizza. On vacation or at work. It's better than green eggs and ham! How tacky of me, but I am tagging you for a meme, knowing full well you just did one. But I can't take it back. This is the internet, you know!
Thank you so much for this amazing award...it really brightened my day. Great meme - I love hearing about your quirks :)
