Isn't it ironic?

The husband has been overly tired lately.

Oh, it could be the weather,

or the fact that he's getting back into the swing of things after being out the office for three weeks,

or the fact that he's the father of two young children and he's got a spouse who's going through some career/mid-life crises the magnitude of which threaten to get even bigger,

or maybe he's not getting enough sleep.

"I wonder if I'm having sleep issues because of sleep apnea. Do I snore?"

If you're said husband's mid-life-crisising conflicted spouse, you should know better than to say,

"Well, you don't really, at least not in a long while."

Because should you reply in that manner, be prepared to be serenaded by the rumblings of successive oncoming trains at 4:00 AM.

Just sayin'.

All I know is that if he has to sleep with a CPAP machine, you might not get any sleep~selfish, but. ~Mary

@Mary, I know, I was just thinking that as I have my Dad's CPAP that my mom wanted me to sell ... but my boy suggested, maybe we hang onto it just a little while longer...oof!

I'm Not Alannis--excellent tag!

That's all I got. I was going to say something about the snoring but saw your tags and lost my thought.

Sleep apnea isn't exactly snoring; it's a succession of snores, silences and gasps, in my experience. Like a series of large trucks passing the bedroom window.
Lovely post; laughing.

My hubs snores like a freight train, and has all these tiny bruises all over from where I jab him to make him stop.

Hope you both get some good nigh sleep.

Honesty is the best policy, I always say. You'll both probably sleep better.

SWMBO snores almost as badly as I do - but I can sleep through hers - she doesn't sleep through mine so well. I told her she snores - she denied it. I recorded it - and she said it was me doing it so I could make her believe she snores.

It's a good thing I'm a sound sleeper.

My husband is perpetually tired too and always looking for "the reason." I'm perpetually tired and all I have to do is look down at the two little people who've invaded our lives to find the reason.

Thanks for the comments on my blog. Looking forward to reading more from you!!
