Weekly Winners #51 - Glimpses of Joy

Hangin' with the big cousins

Rolling with the little cousins

Score!!

Let's hear her talk

She works! (Potty training again, I know .... what the hell was I thinking?)

Nature's Teardrops

(Thanks to you for your kind thoughts and prayers. They mean a lot. Our family is going through a rough patch right now. We're mired in a medical system that needs improvement, and quoting my mom's often used phrase, things are "moving like molasses going uphill." It doesn't help that it's holiday season either. So your words are giving me much needed strength. Love to you all.)

It looks like a wonderful Christmas for you little ones, despite the rough patch.

Our medical system is incredibly flawed, but just keep asking and demanding until you get what you need.

Hugs.

I love the rolling around with the big cousins and the little cousins...reminds me of when I was that age and all of us were really close.

Such a happy looking group of cousins!

I think it's impossible to get answers to medical issues during the holidays. It's awful to have those questions hanging over the family gatherings.

I love all of these shots, and yay for cousins bigger and smaller. :)

Very sorry to hear that there are rough times and involving the medical system - have been down a path in that forest, too, and it can be difficult to see the way out. Sending hugs and good thoughts.

I'm glad you were able to have some fun despite the situation with your Dad.

I learned a few years back that there are some major flaws in our medical system - it really is a squeaky wheel gets the grease type of system - you have to push, push push!

Thinking of you Karen - e-mail me if you want to chat...

Thinking of you and your family. Sure tugs at the heartstrings with the juxtaposition of the joyous celebration of the season and the trepidacious situation with your dad. Sending hugs and positive thoughts your way.
